With Robert Pattison currently crushing it at the box of in Matt Reeve’s The Batman, fans of the DC comic hero have good reason to be revved up for more adventures. In addition to the gritty noir tale that features Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell, John Turturro, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano and Andy Serkis, there are a host of Batman feature films coming to screens near you.

Bat Fans were elated to hear about the upcoming The Flash film, to be released in November 2022, which in a multiverse tale will see Barry Allen team up with not only Ben Affleck’s Batman, but the Batman of Michael Keaton as well. Keaton is regarded as one of the best actors to put on the Bat suit, in Tim Burton’s films of the late 80s and early 90s. It’s rumored that one of these Batmen will not survive the ordeal depicted in the film. I wouldn’t put it past DC to incorporate other surprises into the plot line as well. George Clooney or Val Kilmer maybe?

And there’s more. Keaton’s portrayal of the Dark Knight will also feature in the upcoming Batgirl film with Leslie Grace as Batgirl/Barbara Gordon. And more for fans of animated films: It’s confirmed that everyone’s favorite Hollywood nice guy, Keanu Reeves, will voice Batman in the upcoming DC League Of Superpets, to be released in May 2022.

A good year for the bat indeed.
