The Warhawks are an alternative rock band from Gloucester City, New Jersey, who combine smart songwriting with inspired performance. After only a few years of releasing music on regular basis, they have a number one single on the iTunes Charts, and it’s also doing well on other streamers. “Domino” is a single from their new EP, Wellness Check Pt 1.

The song is immediately catchy, with buzzy electric guitars, slightly laid back beat, and a soaring anthemic chorus with interesting chordal movement. Cool production reigns as the second verse features a clever variation in the layers of sound. Vocalist John Bilodeau plays guitar, while his brother Pat pounds on drums. Matt Orlando is also on guitar while Pat Lipski is on bass. When the chorus hits, it’s with an insanely catchy hook.

“We both know/You like it like it like it when it’s shown/The falling domino/Far too low/Tonight, tonight, tonight we’ll let it drop/Or just stay out of it!”
